Saga Legends/Mission Series (2013)

I'm not ashamed to say it, I'm loving these figures! Maybe it's because they remind me of the old Kenner figures that I grew up playing with in 1980's, maybe it's because I have a little girl who enjoys playing with my old, simple and sturdy POTF2 figures, but it's probably a combination of both. Not everybody is going to love them, and I get that. Super articulation is fun too. But at least for me, these simple 5 points of articulation figures have me a lot more excited than the Black Series does! I'm looking forward to seeing them arrive here in Canada, but while I'm waiting I jumped the gun a bit and bought Darth Vader from the Mission Series off of ebay. Found both of these waves today - Picked up Vader & Seeker Droid from the Mission Series line, and Yoda from the Legends line. I have to admit, the likeness on Yoda is better than most PT figures of him. I compared him to the TVC version - and I even prefer the Legends likeness between the two. They even duplicated his posture. This was the only figure I was interested in from wave 1 - and without a doubt, they did a nice job on it.
