Vintage Collection - 2010

The vintage collection has now officially been confirmed to be replacing the Legacy Collection later this year. Personally, I'm really interested to see what the prequel cards look like!

I'm pretty bored by most of what I have seen in the vintage line for 2010 so far, it seems to be mostly resculpted figures. The rumor of a Wicket & Kneesaa 2-pack really caught my attention though, so I hope its true! If it is, I'd buy a few of them.

I'm really hoping the Kneesaa rumor comes true! I wonder if she was originally supposed to be part of the canceled Ewoks multipack that included Chukha-Trok?
I love the packaging in the vintage collection, but it still won't make me buy repacks. That Jabba and Oola set that Sandtroopers.com has been showing off sure looks great!

I picked up Hoth Leia, Bespin Luke, Han Solo, and See Threepio at TRU yesterday. They're all really good figures, even the Threepio. I'm hoping to find the other figures from this wave soon! I want a few of that AT-AT Commander.

Must have been nice to see those on the pegs! No reports of them showing up in Canada yet as far as I've heard.

These are available in Charlottetown, PEI now! I picked up the new Leia at Wal-Mart today. There were lots of Vintage and new Clone Wars on the pegs, but no Saga Legends. The weird thing is though that even though there were several pegs full of the ESB wave, there was no sign of Luke, Darth Vader or Boba Fett. Unless the shipment didn't include those figures, people must have been scooping them up fast! No Boba Fett offer on the cards.

I picked up wave 1 of the vintage figures on the official release date (6th) - I stopped at Target and was actually able to find all of them. Luke and Boba seemed like the only two that were in smaller numbers.

My favorite is Leia, mostly because it was a figure I've wanted for years. The biggest surprise was Dengar - he turned out fantastic and the likeness is probably the best in the wave. The most retro / vintage looking figure has to be the Cloud Car Pilot.

boba fett figure is prety cool and every thing but sence they released him again in the vintage line they should of gave him a new head, one that resembles jango fett more, one with a full set of hair and without the white buzz light year cloak, that would be enough change for me to want to get him again

Very good point. I never did like the head that they gave Boba, but the one that you describe sounds way better. I would pick up that kind of upgrade as well.

yea i never got why hasbro did that with boba's head, i just hope someday hasbro corrects this some day
