Favorite Ewok quotes
I got to thinking about the Ewoks series, and how yes, it was for kids, and a lot of the episodes are cutesy and goofy, but darnit, there are a lot of funny and courageous moments as well. That being said, I was thinking of my favorite character quotes from the series. moments which stand out as funny or clever. Here they are, in no particular order. Feel free to comment back with your own!
"Byyyee Mamma!"- Willy, The Tree of Light
"Dengar Ewoks!"- Pretty much every episode, but it sounds really cool when Chirpa or Chukha-Trok yells it
"It was giant flock of mud flinging Thunderbats! Honest Mom, they just swooped down out of the sky, throwing mud at everything! Right Wicket?"- Paploo, The Cries of The Trees
"Very interesting. Did the bats drop THIS too?" *holds up a very guilty looking Teebo*- Chirpa, The Cries of The Trees
"Asha! My child!"- Chirpa, Asha
"Uh, snowflake got in my eye."- Chukha-Trok, Asha
"Oh yeeessss, oh mightiest of witches! O' queen of the Night Spirit!"- Umwak, The Cries of The Trees
"You don't think Wicket is..d-d-d...
Hanadak meat."- Kneesaa, Teebo, Latara- Gone with the Mimphs
"Oh k'vark."- anytime it's said it's funny
"And that is how the Sunstar Shadowstone returned to the village at long last. And Morag's life force returned to the forest, where it bacame, in the end, a thing of beauty. As for the young apprentice and his friends, I'm not sure, but I think they lived happily ever after! Your turn Apprentice!"- Logray, Sunstar Vs. Shadowstone

I think its funny how they say 'Dengar Ewoks!', mentioning the name of a bounty hunter - but apparently the word dengar means 'attack', or so I gathered from what I found online, haha.

Re: Favorite Ewok quotes
I just finished watching "The Curse of The Jindas" on filby. Lol. Those Jindas were nutty. Bondo's voice is so loud and annoying, and they were just loud period. I can see why the Ewoks kinda found them odd and trying at times. But Bondo really was a smart actor, and a good friend to Latara. Plus he's named after a popular brand of super glue! Now that I'm older, I still find Bondo mildly annoying (As does my mother, she rolls her eyes at the Jindas), but as an actor myself, I think he's awesome, always laughing and jolly. The gypsies of Endor in a way! Also, has anyone else caught how Bondo calls Logray "Log-gray" and Chief Chirpa "Chief Chirp-Chirp?" He has a crush of sorts on Aunt Bozzie! And the Ewoks are always soo proper, always calling him "Mister Bondo". It's too funny!
What about some jinda figures? how'd we go about making some? I know that at least one person on this forum has sculpted a Bondo and a Chithur, anyone else?
"A Jinda's life is fun and games, because work and play are just the same!"- Bondo

Re: Favorite Ewok quotes
(Sorry for dead thread revival, if you consider it dead...)
My favourite quote ever has to be the one from when the Mimphs capture Wicket. They ask him what K'vark means and he shrugs and responds with "Well...k'vark!" and they starting chanting "K'vark, k'vark, k'vark!"
Wondering if it inspired creators of The Simpsons for the episode where Homer is a missionary...you know the scene where he starts rolling on the ground yelling OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD and the savages go for it, assuming that's Christian worship.
Another favourite. In Bringing Up Norky, Teebo claims that Norky is sure a pain in the...and Latara finishes the sentence with "mud puddle". That was a fun way to "get crap past the radar".
Either way, those quotes are one of the rare things good about the 2nd season.

Re: Favorite Ewok quotes
Now you put me to shame, I never thought k'vark would be written with an apostrophe, but I like to learn new things. Thank you.
Trying to think of a hilarious quote from the first season (which was less slapstick, but has its own gems and is overall better); but the storylines are so good that I just...get immersed in it.
