Ewok Scouts 2-pack
Sirstevesguide surprises the web with an early shot from SDCC: an Ewok Scouts 2-pack featuring Widdle Warrick and Wunka. No word yet on if this is an exclusive, or what happened to Oochee, the other Ewok that was confirmed to be coming with Widdle at some point - more news to follow.

Re: Ewok Scouts 2-pack
Yes, awesome pack - we're getting more Ewoks this year than we did when ROTJ came out, arent we?! I think Ewok fans should rejoice and be thankful that Hasbro listened to our requests. I for one am very greatful for Hasbro offering such a wide selection this year. After all this, I wont be campaigning for more Ewoks - but I hope at some point they release Chukha-Trok.

I had NO idea this set was even coming out! Widdle looks GREAT! Man are we getting a ton of new 'woks this year. I'm so excited! Yes, we need to thank Hasbro many times for really listening to what fans want. In other fan-requested-but-never-made-before-this-year news, Jocasta Nu is also finally being made. and who knew? Yub-nub! A great year for Ewoks!

Re: Ewok Scouts 2-pack
Just stopped by Sir steves, and he has the SDCC Hasbro panel pics up. Looks like our Ewok scouts are a K-Mart exclusive.
http://photos.sirstevesguide.com/panel/p42726-hasbro-star-wars.html
Which is great for folks who live anywhere near a K-Mart, but sucks for those who don't. K-Mart's disribution is also notoriously iffy. Some K-Mart's get exclusives in, some don't. This is why I hate store exclusives. I can only hope some of these will make it to the Big K in Bartlesville or Tulsa Oklahoma. And it just says August for shelf date. Hmmmm.

As a fan of Caravan of Courage I am excited to see Widdle in the 2 pack.
This is great news for sure. It is a bit hard to tell from the pictures I've seen but he really looks accurate.

I agree, it'll be great to have Wickets brother - I too hope for a few more family members - like Deej and Shodu with a wokling...

Re: Ewok Scouts 2-pack
I was thinking about that today. We need a Deej figure with his hunting knife, battle horn and his red wings of courage. shodu with Winda in a blanket and an extra basket, Weechee with his spear and hunting knife and his blue wings of strength, and Chukha-Trok with his axe, breast plate, and jawbone necklace with removable tooth. These could be in another Ewok pack along with someone like Rabin, Wuta, Tokkat, Greemon, or Brethupp.

It would have been cool if hasbro included a modern version of the vintage ewok catapult with these guys.

Definitely... but maybe they will still give us that down the road.
Do we have a date on these?

This set is really tempting. Great figures, perfect packaging...too bad K-Mart is dead in Canada!

Whats odd is that the Hasbro presentation slideshow said "available now", which clearly isnt the case in the US. There are reports that these are available in Hong Kong, but thats about it - hopefully we'll hear more soon, but I expect to see them this month or next either way. Finding them at retail is a whole other story though. I have a KM about half an hour away, which I literally havent been to in years, so these will probably be tough to track down...

Re: Ewok Scouts 2-pack

Yikes, its crazy what some people will pay to have an item before everyone else. The MSRP on these is $14.99 though - certainly better to wait for retail.

Wow, that's crazy! For a figure like Sise Fromm that's rare and never coming back, maybe, but for figures that are still to come, there is no way they are worth that price. More money than patience I guess!
Re: Ewok Scouts 2-pack
This two-pack looks great - too bad there haven't been any K-mart's in my area for years. I miss the store, especially since I would occasionally find HTF SW figures there back in the day....

Re: Ewok Scouts 2-pack
Picked these up tonight, they only had 1 of each on the shelf, and there was no tag... I was hoping to find more, so I could help out a local collecting buddy as well. I gotta say - the retailer exclusives are fantastic this year - these 2-packs, the TRU Ewok set, the Target Maul BP - if only all exclusives could be as good...

Re: Ewok Scouts 2-pack
Good for you getting them! Our K-Mart in Bartlesville has nothing so far. We have a few AT-ST's, but only like, four figures on the shelf. An ancient Vintage Collection Mace Windu, A Naboo pilot, and a 2nd wave Clone Wars Yoda. And maybe like, one battle droid. They've been there for months and months now. Nothing else. Gosh I hope K-mart gets some more figures and these Ewoks in soon...

Re: Ewok Scouts 2-pack
I read on another site that a lot of the KM stores have them in the back because there isnt a designated spot for them on the shelf. Try using the UPC: 653569779452 at customer service - they can give you a stock status and hopefully pull them from the back if needed.

Re: Ewok Scouts 2-pack
Armed with the provided UPC code, I called our local K-Mart and braced myself. ...Yes, they came up in the computer...$14.999...They'll check in the back... ... ... ...No. "They have lots of Star Wars stuff, but nothing labelled "Ewoks." Of course. Check back on Friday. They might have them then. I have a feeling that they might even have them now, but they might be in the back in a box labelled "2-packs" or something. Not "Ewok" specific on the box. I have a hunch that maybe if I go in there in person and ask VERY politely, I may have more success. If not, we're going to Tulsa this weekend and I will check the K-Mart on 51st street. If I don't have sucess there, I hate to do it, but I might resort to Ebay.

Re: Ewok Scouts 2-pack
If the UPC code shows them as being in stock - they are either on the floor or in the back. They come in a case of 8 - 4 of each pack. They probably just couldnt find them (or didnt really look) - I dont think it says 'Ewoks' on the case. I'd tell them to look for anything that says Star Wars Vintage Collection on it...

Re: Ewok Scouts 2-pack
I'm at K-Mart now! Went in person and sure enough, the good folks here were more than willing to help me. They had them! Woot! Now, I never do this, but I'm purchasing 2 sets. There's still plenty left. I'm just grateful I got them!
