Si, parece ser que el C-3PO está un poco dañado , pero el R2 parece estar muy bien, en total sería 16€ con los gastos de envío que no estaría mal con dos figuras de calidad.

Mira esta venta en Ebay ,son las 9 figuras en muy buen estado y a buen precio, además, tiene a Kinesa con flor purpura, que es muy complicado de conseguir.



Yo soy coleccionista de SW, centrandome en lo Español, y de Comics Spain sólo colecciono estas figuras, a las que me interesa mucho su historia.

Hi Bicho,
Yeah, the figures I bought online on Ebay. they are a 2 inch plastic green King Gorneesh and a green figure of Umwak, the Dulok Shaman. I only paid $14.00 American for each of them, which wasn't too bad in my opinion. I understand that these were packaged by Panrico as part of their Ewoks and Droids sticker album collection? Apparently there were random assorted stickers or 1 small plastic figure from the t.v. series. I'd love to find the other Ewoks and the Dulok Scout figures from this series. I want them and I think they make neat displays. I especially want Chief Chirpa, Logray, and Teebo.
Spain had some of the very best collectibles from Droids and Ewoks. In America we got the action figures and vehicles, some games and books. Spain got masks, costumes, card games, record albums, sticker albums...the lists go on! I guess both of these series were just more popluar overseas in Spain and Europe.
I also want the masks from the cartoon series and some of the plushies.

I think the Panrico miniatures are pretty cool, if they were painted like the Comics Spain figures, I'd probably collect them myself. I also like the plush Kneesaa and Wicket made by Quiron - they look just like their cartoon appearances, while the plush versions released in the US look more like movie versions of the Ewoks.

I wish we would've had these in stores when I was growing up! Okay, so my iddle bitty Duloks are approximately 2 inches tall. These figures are in scale to each other! Look how tiny those Ewoks are! Lol. They'dve got lost in oblivion if I'd had them when I was a kid. I had a tendency to carry my Ewoks around with me in my pockets!

La verdad es que en España sacarón un buen surtido de referencias a los Ewoks y Droids, he contabilizado unas 24 empresas que sacaron productos de estas series.Y según cuenta el señor Pete Vilmur, España fué la que más producto sacaron en Europa y USA, sólo nos faltó que sacaran figuras en su bliste tamaño 3 3/4

hello to everyone else on this form, my appologies for not introducing my self befor i beagin posting. well I am Yamalexis, I love to collect comics spain figures because they are made and come from my home land which is how i came across this board i also like star wars alot and i collect many difernt star wars toys too. yo creo que cerraron en 1996-1997 pero no estoy seguro. yo se que cerraron porque ellos no querian expandir a fuera de españa. ellos quisieran que los figuras, y la compania quedaban 100% aut'entico y españole. ellos no quisieran ver otros paises hacer los figuras chapusas como china hacen sus figuras a veces. es la verdad cuando un compania expanda en otro pais, ya los figuras no son authentico y ya no representan el cultura. por ejemplo ay una compania que se llama schleich, schileich son de alemania... antes hicieron sus figuras en alemania pero ellos expandieron.. y hasta china hace los figuras de ellos, y ya los figuras de ellos no son autentico de alemania. pero comics spain quisieran que los figuras quedaban españole y autentico, ellos tenian que cerar porque no quisieran hacer figuras a fuera de nuestro pais. es una pena que ceraron imaginate si comics spain todavia estava en producion...sera algo maravilloso, porque comics spain hicieron sus figuras con mucho detalles, mas que todo las otras companias de figuritas pvc

pero ay algo que me molesta mucho...yo quiero saber que hiceron con los moldes?! yo simpre quiero saber eso! quiero saber si vendieron los moldes o que..jeje eso me vuelve loco

First off, darth_sidious, I love your new Kneesaa avatar for these forums! If I recall correctly, that's the picture of Kneesaa taken from the Ice Capades character pennant. And yes, this is a very hot topic I guess, among collectors. I have no idea Gitano when exactly the Comics Spain company closed. I do know, however that they made many interesting pvc figures. Very accurate details and striking colors. I've seen super heroes, Hanna Barbera characters, Popeye, and I even own some Gremlins pvcs, Gizmo and Stripe!
I think what makes this topic so interesting is that overseas merchandise has some major appeal to collectors. Oftentimes I find myself wanting Ewok items from far away, because they usually have a wider variety and suberb details and quality. I want the Spanish Ewok dolls as well of Wicket and Kneesaa simply because they are the cartoon characters. Wouldn't a Dulok plushie be neat? Lol.

I'm using that Kneesaa avatar on all the SW forums I post on until Hasbro releases her figure! hehe... For me, the Comics Spain line captures the cartoon characters better than the Kenner line (in most respects, but especially the droids) - I think they look great mixed together, and thats how I display mine. Someday I'd like to start customizing Comics Spain figures as well.

The Comics Spain company went out of business in 1996, but they lost the rights to produce Star Wars items sometime before 1990 when Lucasfilm had pvc figures made in China for the Star Tours attraction, seen here:

I was told that Disney owns the original Comics Spain molds, and they were used to produce the Star Tours droids and Wicket - they were resized, the copyright information was updated, and they were of course repainted with a thicker paint. The primary reason that the Star Tours figures lost a great deal of detail is based on the resizing of the castings as well as the new pvc plastic being used which did alter the final product to a degree.
